Session 3

We begin to leave with the body of the creature on Alice’s donkey, Alice used her broom to travel. an army of shadows starts to chase us. We get hit a few times, burning spells to fend them off. Sunrise hits and kills what's left of them.

We get to Stoneslope and rest during the day, they almost didn’t let us in. They wondered why we would bring the shadows to them.

In the evening we finally get back to Vorovni and get cleaned up for the meeting at the mayor’s house now that we have completed the quest. We find out that what we killed was a Bodac. There is some inter-planar magic involved.

First we turn in the quest. Rina is put under a truth spell as she tells the story of what happened. Lauren the Lore keeper is the wizard for the guild hall. We get paid 11k gold. We set aside half the money in Kin’s chest and split the rest.

We each get our invitations to the Mayor’s party from Neely.

Before the party everyone gets new clothes, except Rina who has Clothes of Mending, which are fine robes. Jen owns the fabric shop.

We get to the party at the mayor’s house. It’s in a courtyard with lights floating around magically. There are some trees and flowers around, and the area is magically being kept warm.

The cardinals are kind of the Knights Templar for Luminus. They guard the higher ranking people in the town.

There is a Daybreak witch here, they work closely with royalty. Each high ranking person has both a witch and a cardinal (or some other church higher-up) work with them for balance.

Pontain is the Cardinal that stays with the Mayor, and Mx. Rizvik is the witch who stays by him.

We hear that an adventuring party called Fierceom 5 were lost in the east. We talked about looking for them.

Pontain sniffs at Rina.

We also hear that a “finger” of Luminus was killed, died in his room. Someone will be promoted to his place. The fingers are the most powerful fighters for the church.

There is a cult called the Eyeless cult who have been spreading dark magic.

Seems the twilight coven has been worried about something recently.

The party called the Salt Slayers decided to take the Devil mission that we heard about before.

Aruleus danced with an orc woman from the salt slayers, and Alice danced with a human (looking) guy named Alejandro. Rina danced with a girl from a different party named Ciskay, who seemed a bit intimidated by her. Her party was cheering her on to ask Rina to dance.

Then Enoch shows up to dance with Rina, bringing cold air with him and scaring off another man who was trying to dance with her
